	Sandy & Barrie welcome you to…… Brittany Farmhouse Gites The perfect place for all the family to unwind


	We fell in love with La Basse Rouerie on a rather damp morning in February 1999 and decided it was time for her to be loved again after being empty for more than 20 years. We started converting the Longere into 4 Gites (cottages in English) in 2002 and have now had five successful Summer seasons. Over the years we have stayed in many gites and have put into ours what many leave out. That personal touch, we live on site, so the cottages are very well cared for. Plus we are here to greet you and hand over the keys. You are always welcome to come and ask our advice or just simply to have a chat.

	Although we are in a quiet location, we are only 5 mins away from the village centre with its bar-tabac-restaurant-shop. And only 10 mins from Louvigne du Desert with its, shops, supermarkets and restaurants. Also nearby are attractions like Mont Saint Michel. Water and floral parks, walking and cycle tracks, trout fishing, horse riding, canoeing, kayaking, Châteaux, and numerous places of interest. We are the ideal place for that weekend break, a house-hunting trip, a romantic getaway or that family holiday. Group bookings are also available if all four cottages are booked. 	La Basse Rouerie, four gites that have been restored to provide modern conveniences whilst retaining all the charm of a typical French farmhouse. Leaving in lots of the original features, like granite walls and exposed oak beams. A perfect place for all the family to unwind, either by the pool or under a tree with a good book and a glass of wine.
