La Basse Rouerie is a traditional Breton farmhouse and Longere that dates back 600 years in parts.
It has two and a half acres of gardens with open views over undulating farmland.
The communal patio area has a brick BBQ, the ideal place for parents to get to know one another, while the kids play. We have had many an enjoyable evening with a BBQ and a few drinks. The large safe gardens are the ideal place to
relax either by the pool, having a picnic under a shady tree, or why not just sit and read a good book whilst sipping a glass a wine.
The heated above ground pool is made of teak to fit in with the
surroundings in the orchard. The pool is open from May - September. There is
also a 14ft trampoline with safety netting, this has been great fun for all
ages, including Gran.
In the gardens there is a badminton net, swings, boules pit, swing ball and a basketball net, along with numerous
other games. In the covered veranda area there is table tennis, table soccer and a darts board.
There will be a large screen TV set up in the games
room for the WORLD
CUP 2010
Just down the lane there is an 18 km Patrimoine walk through lovely countryside,
plus a cycle track that leads toFougeres through the forest on a disused
railway track. There are picnic stops along the way.
So you can be as active or relaxed as you want to be on this holiday.
